\/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Den Gro\u00dfteil des heutigen Hokkaido bilden Gebiete, in denen das indigene Volk der Ainu lebte, in das aber sp\u00e4ter Menschen aus anderen Gebieten wie der japanischen Hauptinsel immigrierten. Aus diesem Grund k\u00f6nnen Hokkaidos traditionelle Gerichte wie \u201cOhau\u201d, eine aus beispielsweise Lachs oder Wild gemachte Suppe, \u201cSayo\u201d-Reisbrei, oder etwa mit getrocknetem Fleisch oder Fisch zubereitete Ainu-Gerichte heute nur noch in wenigen Lokalen gegessen werden. Die heutige K\u00fcche Hokkaidos ist eine Kombination dieser traditionellen K\u00fcche der Ainu und den verschiedenen Esskulturen aus den Heimatorten der Zuwanderer, die ab Mitte der Edo-Zeit aus ganz Japan zu Angelpunkten wie Matsumae oder Hakodate kamen. Was die Zutaten f\u00fcr die Gerichte betrifft, so bilden die in n\u00e4chster N\u00e4he gewonnenen frischen und reichlich vorhandenen Meeresfr\u00fcchte und Fischerzeugnisse, sowie auf dem fruchtbaren Boden angebautes Gem\u00fcse und H\u00fclsenfr\u00fcchte den Kern der K\u00fcche Hokkaidos.
